Flory Models Rust Weathering Wash (FMW006)

Flory Models Rust Weathering Wash (FMW006) is a rich, rust-toned wash designed to recreate authentic corrosion, oxidised metal effects, and earthy streaking on scale models. This clay-based wash is perfect for adding believable rust detail to aircraft undersides, hulls, chassis, ship superstructures, armoured vehicles, and industrial diorama elements. 

The rust wash flows naturally into panel lines, crevices, and recessed surfaces to enhance definition while simulating scale-appropriate corrosion and weathering. It is easily applied with a brush or airbrush, allowed to settle into detail, and then gently wiped back to control intensity and achieve the desired effect. 

Highly blendable with other Flory Models washes, this rust tone can be customised to suit a range of environments and finishes, from light surface oxidation to heavy corrosion buildup.
